Two years might seem like a short span in the vast timeline of the universe but in crypto years, two years equal 20 years… And that is a number worth marking!

Since day one, our mission (or as we like to call it SPACEmission) has been ‘exploring new blockchain galaxies and expanding the horizons of how blockchains can affect humanity, by using ZK technology.’
Two years later (sorry, 20 years later) together with StarkWare we are really expanding the blockchain space, bringing Zero-Knowledge closer to mainstream adoption, and creating many great things together!
We started with tooling - Starknet Hardhat plugin, continuing with Starknet Devnet, and later Starknet.js. All of this led to other projects like creating a 1-click withdrawal feature to Starkgate and bringing Chainlink to Starknet, collaborating with deBridge, then Liquity; building fast withdrawals, and now building Nimbora (more info about Nimbora coming in a few weeks, so stay tuned 😉)
From Starknet Hackathon Amsterdam 2022 to StarkWare Sessions TLV & Starknet Summit 2023, we supported each other every step of the way to the mutual goal.
On ETH Lisbon 2022 hackathon SpaceShard initiated Abi Wan Kanabi (Abi parser for Cairo smart contracts), a project that is now maintained by the community and has recently been integrated to Starknet.js
We like to constantly contribute to the community: we held a workshop on StarkNet.CC Paris 2022; we regularly write educational blogs such as Tools for Developers on Starknet , Learning about Starknet - Community, Hub & Edu Resources, and many more.
We organized the first-ever Starknet meetup in Croatia which was one of the most-attended meetups in Split during Blocksplit conference!
And this is just the tip of the iceberg for SpaceShard and StarkWare! There are many great things coming our way.
Thanks to the knowledge we have as a team that has been in ZK space since the early days, we are working on many exciting new things! From the tooling side, the major upcoming thing is a rewrite of Starknet Devnet to the Rust language, which will replace the old Devnet written in Python.
Regarding the development of our own project and solutions, well… all we can say is currently in incognito mode, soon alpha 😉
So if you want to keep up with what new is happening in our space, you’ll have to visit SpaceShard blog regularly! Or follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Medium channel.
